Together

This is a poem I wrote in 2017. I imagine all of my poetry set to music but I am rarely able to come up with my own tunes. This poem I imagine set to the tune of Skyfall by Adele.

You never stick around
You went and crushed my heart on the ground
Ran off and left me down
So down
You want to get away
Always running every night and day
Pushing all those you know away
You never stay
